JOSH'S NEXT STEPS

Josh has his sights set on the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, where he hopes to compete for a medal again, free of injury. After fighting through a torn ACL suffered in the lead up to Paris 2024, Josh will start the Olympic cycle recovering, before the focus turns to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, and then the Olympic campaign.

Away from the mat, Josh is working with his brother Nathan, who is also an elite judoka, on Team Katz - a coaching business by the brothers. They are also developing a podcast, so watch this space for more exciting content.

Josh is also available for corporate speaking and coaching. He has lots of experience in this area, and can provide coaching on everything from goal setting to resilience, and managing success and disappointment.

TEAM KATZ

Team Katz started as a way for Josh and Nathan to tell their story to school kids that didn't know about judo, or hadn't been exposed to high performance athletes.

As time has passed, the programs that Team Katz run have become more sophisticated and comprehensive, and can be varied for high-performing students, special needs students, corporates, amateur clubs and other environments - the knowledge and lessons are extremely transferrable.

Josh is passionate about wellbeing and health. Aside from the obvious first hand experience with how much health can help a person achieve their goals, Josh has helped others discover the same for his clients, in both school and corporate environments.
